I was handed a low-res ship model and was told to make the high-res normal map, AO bake, Spec Map, and then texture it. This is just and update after working on it for about 4 hours or so.

There are a lot of new features, such as a flash app I scripted in ActionScript3 to allow you to pan around my models.

Well, it's been a busy couple months, but I'm in the middle of totally revamping the site, my resume, and the updating the artwork on here. Stay tuned!
 
 
I'll hopefully be updating soon with all the work I've just been doing. For the mean time, here is a little piece I did in Unreal.

Poly count on the tree is less than 10,000 tris

Textures are all 512x512 (except the bigger ones on the bottom left which are 512x1024)

I'm actually going to finish this tree with some layered texture work pretty soon. I've got it done in maya and it looks pretty sweet, but I just haven't done it in unreal yet.

 
 
Just thought I would update with some work. I've started the base textures on this alien hunters house. I have some assets done that go with this, I'll post them all together once I'm done.
 
 
Here is a small update on the Acacia Serengeti trees. Left is the maya viewport and on the right are two shots in UDK. I need to work on the foliage a little more, but I've got a few more models that are being textured at the moment so I'll update with those soon.
 
 
Both of these are WIP.

The crystal hive has base texture work done and will be finalized this week.

The Tree is in the process of being unwrapped. It is fully modular so it can create many of the same type of tree.


 
 
I had an hour to kill in between classes today so I modeled/textured a crate.
 
 
I have officially released my White Box Tool for Maya today. 

It should be up on CreativeCrash and other websites soon.

I've been insanely busy with school work, contract work, and side projects, most of which isn't 3D related, but I'll have a bunch of updates soon.
